Frezze ups and connection problems

Ok so im running min graphics, sounds etc for the settings even though i can easily do full specs with my comp (AMD 1600+ GeForce 3 TI 200 pro, 512mb DDR Ram) but when im loading the game it just stops when on the loading screen, so I looked at my modem to see if it was doing anything...nothing, the HD wasnt loading nothing. I cant figure out whats wrong.

My character created fine but after that nothing :s

Its ok if it freezes the first time. The first time you load the game it might take up to 2 hours for it to load. It will go much faster next time. Its important that you DONT under any circumstances use alt+tab or something like that.
What connection do you have?

There is no problem with your computer what so ever. The reason that it can take two hours is that PS calibrates something, dont ask me why or what, make a search for it.. also, make sure that you used the updater, and have the latest drivers for your cards..
