I think I figured out the database error.

I\'m not sure, and maybe someone already noted on this, but I got the database error when I created a character with left over points or negative points on the skills or str/weaknesses pages.  This could be unrelated, but I think it has something to do with it, because when I evened out all the points my character worked.

that could have something to do with it... although I evened out all my characters\' points (as every sensible player would do :P) I think that it might have something to say...

hey man i think your right! i havnt been able to get it working but i made a new character about 10 minutes earlier and it started to connect me to the server...i know i used every point this time...you should definatly let other people try it to make sure that its right

This is very interesting to me.  Can people please verify this?  I\'ve never created a character that didn\'t use exactly all of his points because I always just assumed I had to use them all. :-)

i used all mine in the custom thing and i got past the link dead the first time but then when i get to intalizing world it stop and freezes wit an error that says\"Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL.32.DLL at 0187:bff6bb56\"then it just restart my computer 3 mins later...

I have created several characters to test this theory. With all the characters I created I didn\'t spend all the points I had. With one I even didn\'t use any.

All the characters were created just fine, they were uploaded and I got in the game without a problem.

Just giving you my results.

Perhaps the error only occurs when there are minus points left, i.e. you have spent too many. Did you test this also, Keldorn?

Yes I did, but he doesn\'t let you proceed if you have negative points.
It tells you to balance the points out till you have 0 or more left.
