First of all, I think it\'s a bit annoying that the new crystal message shows up to yourself when you pick up a cyrstal.  Do you really need to see that?  I find it annoying as it spams up my info box.  Also I don\'t really care for this feature in general, so it\'d be nice if you could make the change I just said and/or have an option to turn it off alltogether.

Secondly, I\'m guessing you did something to try and fix the vanishing crystal (when you drop 10 one dissapears).  Whatever you did just made things worse though, coz\' now sometimes you might not even be able to pick up 50% of the crystals you dropped.  Of course they still reappear in time, but they usually did before too, now just more of them come back.

Nothing to do with the crystal bug was altered. Venge simply added the new alert message. To fix the disappearing crystals requires a client update, one which they\'re already working on.

I don\'t know why the situation suddenly got worse, but my guess is it\'s completely random and you\'re experiencing the worse case recently by pure chance.

I\'d think so, but it wasn\'t just me that was getting a worse variation of the crystal bug.  It just seems like something is different, coz\' I never had anything but the one crystal dissapear before.

The official word from Venge is that nothing has been changed and the crystal bug has not got worse since the update.

Blah, I don\'t care.  I still have issue with this damn new crystal message thing!!!  I don\'t need it to tell me that I got a crystal!!!!!

Stop whining! :baby: Do you hate being able to see every /greet in the world too? Well if you do, you don\'t complain about it, which means it can\'t be doing any harm.

Everything is different for CB anyways, so just grin and bare it for now.

Tycho, peace... it\'s mostly for others benefit, not yours. No such thing as anonymous crystal snaking now, I think it\'s a good idea. If you find it annoying, cease picking up crystals

I just want it to not tell --->ME<--- that --->I<--- picked up a crystal, I don\'t care if it tells others, nor if I hear others!  And the greeting is why I don\'t like it, it ruins my greet strings!!!

Greet strings? What intergalactic nonsense are you talking about, wedge! If you don\'t like the message, don\'t pick up crystals. I haven\'t been on planeshift since the update so it could be just as annoying as you say but it sounds like a nice idea.

It\'s not annoying at all. One message appears. That\'s it. Nobody else sees it unless they\'re in the same vicinity as you. So it doesn\'t mess up \'Greet strings\' at all, in the eyes of those you would think it matters to.

...why does it matter anyway? Is this some kind of male pride thing I havn\'t heard of? ?(

For me personally, I think it is nice to see that confirmation message that you picked up what you thought you picked up...

I just gotta say... getting into first person, looking down,  moving forward, and looking down some more to get right on top of some crystals before I can pick them up doesn\'t really bother me... until someone with less lag comes along and snatches a crystal right from under my nose! :o(

At least now I know who does it (even if by the time I am done staring at the ground they are long gone) and I can plot and plan the downfall of these unscrupulous scoundrels.

Personally,  I like the new feature... thanks :o)
