My friend Kendaro speaks to you the truth. The Xacha are a race nearly equal to mine own in intellect. Laanx, that heartless bastard, saw this intellect and thought he could make use of it to better himself. As if his sins to us Lemur weren\'t enough. But that is a tail for another day. For now I will just read to you from the scrolls of history.
Later, two big families of short men arrived. They had long beards and they were solid and tireless. One of the two groups was called \"Hammerwielders\", the other \"Stonebreakers\". They accepted to settle down in a place inside the Stone Labyrinths too. The dwarves spoke about a group of tall men with skin as white as chalk; they were rich of knowledge an traditions but too weak to live underground. In dwarves\' opinion they would be extinct soon. Knowing of this, Laanx went to these men personally; he didn\'t want to run the risk to loose people that could be valued. He found a few hundred of these people, desperate, almost without food, and resigned to end the glorious history of their race in a moist alley. Laanx, availing himself of their weakness, showed them all his power. The Xacha followed him on no condition and he became their god.
There is much more to this scroll and it even tells how Laanx bent the will of these Xacha and possesed them with his power. In doing so had them create the Temple of Laanx.
(OOC: This is on the main page. Look to the settings and then under the History.)
