Wow!  Just discovered http://www.there.com
Imho, its the most well designed and thought out MMORPG I\'ve seen to date (but take that with a pinch of salt, I know nothing about Everquest and a few of the other big commerical MMORPGs).  It\'s what I think PS should be heading towards.
I\'m not sure if its available directly for download or if its for beta subscribers only, if you get the chance check it out.
I won\'t go through all its nice design choices, but things like seats having an action asigned to them (a little blue circle appears when you get close enough) and you can choose \'sit\' from the option list - the camera then pans around, shows you sitting, then drops you back to the normal camera view.  I think this is pretty nice, plus the body customisation screen is very cool, sliders for body size, weight, muscle tone, eye brow thickness, eye brow arch, chin shape, chin overhang etc etc.
The code is closed source and they seem to be running with this very much commercially - there are shops to buy clothes and they have exchange rates with the dollar so you can purchase more credits.
Worth a look though, if just for some design ideas.

Neil.

looks like a bad combination between that kiddy party ps2 internet game and the sims online... without the ability to crash other player\'s parties... *gag*

EDIT: oh yeah - I hope the devs stay as far from there.com as possible - ITS EVIL DEVS DONT BE LURED BY THE PRETTY LIGHT!!!
