THE PROPHECY OF THE FALLING STONE
« on: September 30, 2003, 04:08:50 am »
The prophecy told of a day when large stones fell from the sky rewarding the worthy and unworthy with great gifts luck,strength,knowledge,cunning,6th sense, acute senses and many other mutations.

Gaelad loved it here by the water, sure in the town a couple miles to the west he was but a boy but, here he was king. He commanded the water and the trees, the ground and the sky.  If he wished he could make a wave big enough to sink the island and then destroy the wave the second he wanted to.  None knew of his powers and they only worked at this spot.

One day he came to the waters edge and could not make the slightest wave,  he would try but it was as if he was trying to push something but something larger was pushing it and he could touch what he wanted to push.  Finaly frustrated he decided to take a bath in the water,  while he jumped in he noticed a bright light on the stone ceiling of the stalagmite.  The light got brighter and brighter until a piece of the cieling fell but a few paces to the left of Gaelad.  the stone floated to land and Gaelad followed.  He inspected it and after a few seconds found an inscription \'Strength and Cunning for the futur ruler\'  he was holding the stone making sure he a read right when , right before his eyes, it turned into a cup.  \'Drink from this cup and u shall reap the rewards\' it said on the side.

Yeah I just made that up on the spot and its kinda bad but if u wanna comment or critisise Id love to hear them, and, of course, you may continue the Story

sorry to sound like a nerd or something
but stalagmites grow on the floor
stalagtites grow on the ceiling.
If it was stalagmites he would of found it very hard to get to the waters edge.
