Install and play under Mandrake Linux

I\'ve just installed Mandrake 9.0 and downloaded planeshift.tar.gz

I don\'t know Linux (i \'ll learn soon).

I\'m a regular player under Windows.

What have i to do to install and play PS under Linux ?

I\'ve unzipped gz, then tar

i have all directories and sub.

how to execute ?
