PlaneShift Setup Bug

i\'ve just installed the last version of planeshift, and pssetup.exe crashs every time i try to open it : the backgroup of the window stays black and windows (xp)tells me that he has to close it....

Its probably not a bug, although with no information to go on I can\'t really say. Please tell us your system specs.

It could be something as silly as you don\'t have a graphics card... in which case there\'s no really much you could do.

Everyone has a graphics card... but yeah, post your system specs.

Also be sure to close all other running application before attempting to run pssetup.

Not everyone does it seems, I encountered a new user here some time ago with a PC of about 5 years of age and it didn\'t have a graphics card, just the oboard stuff, so he had almost hardware acceleration at all.

Oh, you literally meant \"card\".  
Yes, many PC\'s made today still use onboard shared video.
Some are even 3D accelerated, but the majority are crap.
In addition, expensive laptops and some PC\'s can have onboard Nvidia Geforce or ATI Radeon processors with their own video memory (not shared).

Everyone has Video memory of some type, your speaking of Intagrated Memory, and yes, many of the older PC\'s do use intagrated mem.
