Final release?

I think Planeshift would be the greatest online game ever! Keep up the hard work, guys..
I\'m can hardly wait for the final release. Don\'t you guys (the developers) have a projected date for the final release?

I hear that the next version known as \"Crystal Blue\" is slated to be released at the end of this year. As for a final release date I don\'t believe there is one at the present moment, since one of the aims of PlaneShift is to continually evolve - in that sense there is probably never going to be a final release, although maybe there will be a Version 1.0... When they finally decide to call it 1.0 :)

The answer is no, the devs don\'t know when the game will be \"finished.\"  As chrischoo said, this game will be constantly evolving.  There will probably be a version 1.0 when the devs decide that what they have constitutes a \'finished\' game, but things will be constantly be added to it beyond that.

Crystal Blue is slated for a December release (don\'t hold them to it, it\'s just an approximation), and will be \'playable\' with a basic combat system, items, etc.

MMORPGs are usually very dynamic. That\'s why you don\'t see sequels to them much, unless they\'re really old.
