More problems

Ok...so i finaly dl planetshift and install it without any major problems that i couldnt fix...but it seems to take ages to load every time, not just the first time, and is reeeely unstable and very laggy.
Coz of the lag i ran the other version(the not so slow one) and the pics at the start never apear, just the icons and when i clik to login(guessing its the same icon) the lettering is scattered..and my whole system ends up crashing 50% of the time...and its still laggy...im not running anything else and have enough RAM(i hope) so i realy cant play unless ic an fix this problem...ne1 got any idears?

How much RAM do you actually have? It certainly sounds like you may be lacking the amount required to run the game on your machine.

Your graphics card may also be playing a role in your problems, so make sure you have the latest drivers for it.

I have 256mb of RAM, 86% free without running planeshift.
I am having a few small problems with my gfx card but it has never stopped me playing other games, many of which need the latest gfx cards and drivers.

256 mb is not very much, but I\'ve got the same, so it should work.. a good graphics card is important too, maybe that\'s causing the problems.
If you\'re trying to run the game on Windows XP try setting the compatibility to Windows 98(go to the psclient.exe properties, it\'s there somewhere.)

here is exactly what you need to do go to the icon you use to load game right click then click on properties and then select compatibility there it is change from win 95 to 98/me
