The current build of MB in the CS engine does create a global lag. Which im sure they have/are solving for CB. But the transfer between client and server is pretty small, so having broadband doesnt make but a slight difference. I just did a bit of high-low res testing and i get the same results in the 4 times i tried every res. Of course my numbers are slightly different for each time i tried the same res it still came out the same. High Res actually preformed better than low res. i tend to get about 10-20fps (if not more) for every res higher than the last.

I believe they released a new stable version of the CS engine not too long ago. Not sure what all they fixed as i dont keep up with CS as much as i do PS.

hmm? no, not really... i don\'t see any reason of having more fps while all you see is a loading screen ;)
