Cant Log on!! help!

Dont kill me if someone said this already...

When i try to logon it says \"youve already logged on ,if you were disconnected(i wasnt, i quitted out because i had to something) try after 30 seconds\" After that the game crashes or quits out when i press ok.

Then after a few hours i came back then it said the same thing!!

What can i do to fix this! help!

There is not really a solution for this problem. If the server does not hear from your client for a while it should kill your ghost off.
If it doesn\'t, all you can do is wait. Maybe a dev could kick the account, but if there is no account by that name actually logged in then that won\'t work either.

If nothing helps I guess all you can do is create a new one.

Or if someone else has a better solution...

I had the exact same problem.
Ok, first of all, I haven\'t actually been able to get it to work in OpenGL mode but that might be just because my computer\'s slow. But that\'s beside the point.
Ok, if you\'ve got Windows XP go change the compatability mode to win98/me.
Then go to the planeshift website and delete your character (sorry, but you\'re gonna have to recreate him/her).
Then go recreate your character. At the end, when it confirms everything, change the channel from planeshift.fragnetics.com to 203.81.47.74
Hope that helps! By the way, I DID get this from somewhere else in this forum, but it was for something about a \"linkdead\" message which i didn\'t get, I got messages saying other things like what you got. Then it crashed. The \"linkdead\" message solutions worked just the same for me.
If it still doesn\'t work, try running it in \"safe\" mode.
