Mini-Games
« on: February 19, 2004, 10:52:02 pm »
More Events would be nice

Lose Land Gain Land Event - 2 guilds battle over one of their guild castles last man standing claims the building for the guild he is in. If your the current defender of the castle and you defend the castle successfully you recieve respect among ranking and get to keep your castle ofcourse. :D

Every Guild should start with their Castle HQ, if your guild loses their castle in the event they have no HQ anymore and have to wait a certain ammount time before they could issue a challenge to take back their castle.

Eventually you would see stronger guilds arise taking many Castles for their own and would probally see alliances being formed to take back castles. It could be fun, anyways its just a suggestion :D

no its some game i rented once, the name escapes me but its a robin hood simulator (litterally it follows the whole story) and the whole damn thing is a giant set of mini games. gay as hell and i hate playing mini games because of it.

You know what a better idea would be??  Make a game revolving around what Whemy wants!!  That\'d be perfect right? Right?

Yeah Whemy I think I saw him mention that every single player had to participate in it no matter what.  Lighten up Whemy, you don\'t like mini-games?  Then don\'t play them.  I for one think it would be fun.  It is something to help pass the time.

PS You\'re not talking about Robin Hood:The Legend of Sherwood are you?

that might be the game. its quite new, aendar. But anyways My point really is that if we cant even agree on a card game, how are we going to make a whole mini game that everyone likes, and ISNT repetitive.

Well the whole point of mini-games is to give the player something to do when they have nothing else to do.  It\'s a time killer.  Although the idea proposed by Depth is more of an event than a mini-game, they could include all kinds of different mini-events.  Hell what do you think quests are?  They are mini-games any way you look at it.

Mini Games should just be little things like the suggested card game, and not much more. I would want more time focused on trying to make the real game less boring so we don\'t need \"mini games\"
