Pan's Murder
« on: March 13, 2004, 03:52:07 am »
Power. Yearned by many, reached by some. Abused by almost all. It is something many have fought and died for. It is also something that succeeds just normal creatures. Also wanted by the gods. More power, it drives even them to drastic oods and usually they fail to ever reach more. There are some succeed, but one in particular did not achieve, did not succeed and was not forgoten. His name was Balthazaar. Balthazaar was created by Pan, one of the original creature dieties created by Vodul himself. Pan was a great mentor, friend and father. Pan and Balthazaar had an unusual relationship though. Pan never treated his son Bathazaar like his son, his kin, his creation. Pan treated Balthazaar like an old friend, on the same level. The two were unseperatable. The two often told each other riddles, participated in lavish parties, and sometimes played pranks on the other gods. It was a sight to behold. Vodul had often commented on how HE even envied Balthazaar and Pan\'s relationship. No one thought that much of it, and came to accept the beauty of Balthazaar and Pan\'s love. Untill that fatefull day 7 Otaga and 7 ages ago to THIS day. It was a beatifull day in the plane of the gods. The gods were at ease, nothing major in the other planes had happened for quite some time so the gods were overall relaxed, but ever ready for an attack or revolt of course.

Crimson. Color of the gods some say. Color of death, color of wrath, color of power. That day, crimson filled the skies, an omen of death. The gods immediatly were ready, no time was wasted, the posts were mantled, the guards were on alert, the plane of the gods was a warzone once again. Vodul spoke, \"Crimson not only floods the skies, my children, but also the ground.\" Pan, has been slain. The gods appauled. No one spoke a word. Motives for pan\'s Death had not been heard in the plane of the god. Every creature, in the plane of the gods, in the mortal plane and every other corner of existance shook that day. Balthazaar wept. His cries were as loud as anything ever heard in the Kingdom of Vodul. Many shared his love, his shock, his horror, as well as his hate for whatever had done this to his mentor, his friend and most of all, his father and creator. Vodul announced that whoever or whatever was responsible for this attrocity would not pay in death, but in eternal suffering in a plane accessable only by Vodul himself. This plane represented ever evil, every pain, every single kind of hurt anything could suffer a thousand times over, every second of eternity. Anyone sentenced to this plane had the pity of every creature in Voduls Kingdom.

well just a start really. ill get to the rest later...

Wow Whemyfield, you\'re really improving as a forum member.
The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

ok Pt II to pans murder...

It seem everyday the murder of Pan seemed more and more hopeless. Every god, animal, and creature was tried as a possible suspect. Even balthazaar him self was under suspicion. So far no one knew how, why, and most importantly who killed pan.
Balthazaar spent many nights along, constantly thikning who would profit from Pans death, who wanted it done but Pan was a very friendly god, not one of war but one of wisdom and happiness. No one had anything against him. Was there something hidden from light, something no one had found out about pan, a secret life or some dirty secret that was never heard in Vodul\'s Kingdom? \"Of course not, I knew pan better than anyone\" And so things around the plane of the gods grew more and more back to normal. Everyone was on thier highest alerts, but things did not seem as queer as the day pan was found slain in the fields.
Pan had visited the mortal plane that day, bidding his own creations a good morning, and giving gifts to his children. His children loved him as much as any other creation loved their father and god. One creature stood out from the rest however. On the day that the creature was brought into the world, Balthazaar was vengefull lusting for the blood of a crazed murderer who had swept through the plane and killed one of his children. Needless to say once anger had swept through Balthazaar\'s mind it was vented out only by creation and the creature that resulted from that anger was an odd creature. It was quite eerie actually.

Balthazaar knew the consquences of creating in spite instead of good and exepected a monster of Giant preportions and A horrible temper. But the creature that spawned un from balthazaar was one very meek, In body and mind. The creature was only 3 feet or so and stuttered constantly. Balthazaar at the time thought nothing of it and thought maybe that his powers were just off that day. His creature knew why he was created and wondered constantly, unlike balthazaar, why his creation had come so queer. Constantly he built his strength, his mind, his courage but nothing seemed to change. Presently he was still as meek as ever, but Balthazaar still loved him, although he was not created as planned, he was his creation, his kin, and still his love.

Pt III coming soon...

I like this, Whemy :)

Maybe who knows, this might result in a feud between gods that lasts to this present day.

Keep more coming whem :D
