Free BB's
« on: March 09, 2004, 10:58:17 am »
Hey all,

I\'m looking for a decent free forum for the Followers of Aliathi to use. :) What do you guys use for your guilds, and what would you reccomend?

Btw, don\'t ask me any technical questions about what I need from the software... hehe... I just want something that works and looks good. :) Oh, and it has to be hosted, because I can\'t host it on www.seperot.com due to space and other things.

Thankee. :D

Well the CV forums- Forums
Are hosted on ourweb.to  Pretty good host.  Never had problems with it.  They do require you to have a banner...but you\'re supposed to to put in the banner code yourself.  I haven\'t....they don\'t seem to actually make sure you did it.  :D

The forums I have always used are YaBB.  They look good and pretty simple to use and set up.

Only n00bs don't quote themselves...

you only have to be smart to be able to configure it.
Dim  Drachion as  allpowerfull
Dim  ForumUsers as  Mortals
If  Drachion=Mortal then  ForumUsers=Death else  ForumUsers=Slaves end if

Something seems too good to be true about ourweb.to... 10-30MB, SSI, PHP, ASP, MySQL, and FTP, all for free, and with no problems? Fascinating...

How long have they been around? I\'ve never found them in any of my extensive searches...

Yeah I had never heard of them until recently.  But they are really good.  The forums have never been down and never taken long to load.

The people who try to kill me, and the people who fight against me, are my enemies.

I can see my enemies clearly now. If you become my enemy, I\'ll kill you.

Agreed.  :D  ?(  :(  ;)  :]
