I disagree completely. If you\'re going to allow ANY form of PKing, you should make it so ANYONE can kill ANYONE else. The penalties for death should be no different from normal (though if the person killed is of lower level, they drop less items, if the person killed is of a higher level than the killer then more is dropped; this discourages powerful characters from randomly killing people because they can.) You argue that it should be allowed to kill people of lower rank to prevent spying. Well, logically, shouldn\'t that spy not only be able to defend himself, but shouldn\'t we allow everyone to kill each other so we can actually have assasination attempts on an opposing guild\'s leader? That would certainly add realism and make things quite a bit more interesting. What could also be interesting is \"duel mode\" of sorts. In this mode you could challenge someone and if they accept you enter Duel Mode. When you die in this mode, you come right back with no penalties at all, but the victor, if lower in rank, advances either one rank, or moves into the rank of the loser and the loser drops a single rank. This would allow for a kind of wolf-pack structure to the martial or criminal guilds in which it is often the strongest or most cunning that leads. Again, this would add realism and make things more exciting and interesting.
