well the problem with typing the name over and over again could be to have a personal talking system like fairyland. in that game there is a special menu where if you have a buddy all you have to do is type it once then right select the name and talk in wisper mode. seems VERY effective to me. as for having too many characters it isnt too hard to restrict the characters. there are some that look good in names for pronunciation. so limit to about 19 and you can have some nice looking names taht arent l33t.
