maybe a nice open letter from the devs (talad\'s good with the likes of them) to the pcgamer would be the best solution

...do not forget the *nice* in it! ...ah, of course you could sue them, but why the hassle? - open up a new paypal account to get enough cash to afford a lawyer? and then? we\'ll just get dissed in those bloddy comp. games mags after that :P ...but yea, they should have asked in any case.

Its seems that PC Gamer and the powers that be are afraid that gamers will turn away from their expensive MMO-RPGs because of free ones like PS.

I even thought of making a 2d MMO-RPG for free.

They wrote nice about Runescape 2 and Pristontale, so I don\'t think that\'s the problem. if they was afraid of it, then why bother adding an article about it? That way people get to know about it, and propably check it out because it looks interesting on the screenshots.

The Dev team don\'t have the time currently to write letters to magazines. This is why the team need some people on the PR team.

\"They wrote nice about the game-that-shall-not-be-named 2\"

Runescape <<< says it all lol.

The writers probably get big incentives on the sly for writing rave reviews about MMORPG\'s that are pay to play. Everyones happy that way. Well except games like this...

I can remember seeing the pic in Kada\'s PC Gamer article somewhere,

I know I\'ve seen it but it wasn\'t on this site or in  that magazine because I can\'t stand reading UK magazines, mostly due to the fact that I can\'t translate pounds to dollars in my head (the exchange rate doesn\'t help either)

hmmm where on earth did I see that picture.

Sorry Cirque, I didn\'t notice that you had edited your post to ask me that.

The article I posted was from nearly 3 years ago, so I doubt there\'s any point in contacting anyone about that ;) And as you can see from the recent article (in the same magazine) that Kwartz posted, they have written nothing but facts.

Here\'s the mag website anyway

The article posted by Niber isn\'t by the same authors at all and (obviously) isn\'t the UK version of PC Gamer, so you\'ll need to ask him for contact details if you want to put them straight ;)

Ahh OK, I thought the article was published recently. Would probably look like a snag if I responded to a 3 year old article.

Maybe I should send PC Powerplay (Australian magazine) and email regarding this game. If they write a half decent review of it then it would certainly promote the game in a positive way.

Just saw that the last planeshift interview was \"published\" on mmorpg.com
Better publicity than the pcgamer =)

PS is not technically a game yet, therefore any \"game reviews\" are automatically invalid.

Well..... what about Tech-demo reviewing?   :D

And these sort of magazines publish stuff about up and coming games as well.

But I have to say, hopefully all this publicity won\'t bring TOO many hardcore gamers.  Id hate nothing more than to log in one day and have a group of people who are always there spoil everything and act out of character all the time...
