CVS login for planeshift project fails.....
« on: June 01, 2004, 02:07:09 am »
Is it just me or is the anonymous CVS login for the planeshift project account currently borked?

It gives a \"authorization failed\" on anon login.

Thats just my luck - build.sh managed to perfectly compile, Jam, CS and CEL for the first time ever :(

Tried it again this morning, it still fails with the following:

cvs login: authorization failed: server cvs.sourceforge.net rejected access to /cvsroot/planeshift for user anonymous

Must be a problem with SF CVS; I\'m going to try some other repositorys to see if its localised to PS.

SF status page makes no mention of a current CVS fault btw.

Uh - oh.

CS cvs at SF.net is working fine so this problem is localised to planeshift.

Interestingly, on attempting to browse CVS, it throws up this:

Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /viewcvs.py/planeshift.

Reason: Max-Forwards has reached zero - proxy loop?

Not your usual temporary outage error.

Is it worth contacting SF admin/support about it?

Sourceforge is aware of the problem, projects with names starting with p, n, m, z, y among others are having \"issues\".
