Blue Screen Crash in XP

I downloaded the files combined them , installed game updated , created char. entered game it went from window to full screen and at that moment crahed to a blue screen giving me a system halted memory parity error.

any help would be great thanks.

amd athlon 1.4
sound blaster live
640 m ram
cable
Geforce 4 ti 4600

When did you last update your graphics drivers? Blue screens are most commonly caused by driver problems these days...

Which Ti 4600 gfx card are you using?
I have a WinFast A250 and i\'m getting the same error...

I cannot upgrade the drivers that microsoft provides because of incompatability issues. whos drivers are you running? M$? Manufacture? Nvidia?

A memory *parity* error?  Does this happen everytime?  I\'ve always thought parity errors were related to bad RAM..

other than one other application of mine which stoped happening after a patch for it came out, nothing...
I\'ll be switching to linux soon enough

Well, my coursity sorta solved this...
Just run in window mode...

btw, i\'m running 2000, not the over-feature-bloated XP

edit: well... nvm... it just took longer to crash :/
