I think pointless threads oughta be locked away...
If someone has used the internet, more specifically forums, before, they should know that people do not take kindly to people waltzing in with the answer to a question arrayed before them in 82 different languages and pictograms, only a search button away, and then asking the question. Especially with grammar that would put a Hippies AOhelL chatroom to shame. Peace out is a phrase that is limited to archeological purposes. (Psst... that means that it has \"gone outta style\") and here, asking a question that has been answered more times than the poly count of all of hydlaa, is most certainly not the place to use it.

*gets off soapbox*
*has urge to lob large inflatable search button at CelticHero (odd smiliey omitted for my sanity)*

Maybe there should be a thing that makes people actually read the forum rules before posting... This seems to be a more common problem here than most forums I\'ve seen... Then again, most of the forums I read are linux related, and most linux users have the sense to \"read teh instructi0ns\". Mainly because nothing in linux is idiot-proof so you have to be careful :-/

Unfortunately, even if something was implimented to force users to read the rules, or even read an FAQ before posting, the same people would end up posting the same questions, simply because they scrolled down through all the text to hit the \"I accept\" button. No, I think one would need to have a mic connected and force the user to read, word for word, the agreement, and pass a voice recognition, before that time will ever come.. although.... Hmmm.
