I downloaded the Game and it won't work

I downloaded this 100 meg game and found it not to work.
Ok.
The problem i am having is that i downloaded all parts and when i ran the assembler it put all the parts together (i think) and i ran the EXE.

When i ran the EXE it came up with this error

Installer Corrupted or Incomplete

This could be the result of a failed download or corruption from a virus.

if desperate, try the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED)



Can someone please help me so i  can play this huge 100 meg game. which took a month to download on my lousy 56k modem...

100mb is extremely small for any game, unless it was created before 1998...

Well anyways, there\'s a few things you can do. First, delete the .exe file. Click here to download the new version of the run_me_first and replace the old one. Also download the MD5 checksum program.

Run this new version of the run_me_first.

As the link says, this will automatically check each file for corruptions. If any of the .parts are corrupt, you will need to re-download that part.


The rest should be self explainatory. Hope that helps.

Anyway, what you said to do did work but it means i will have to download the files again and i can\'t be screwed.

It took me ages to download in the first place.

100 MEGS IS A LOT IF YOU ARE DOWNLOADING IT OF THE NET . If it came on disk then maybe it wouldn\'t be such a hassle then i could order it from you

I download 1000\'s of mb everyday. Yes I have broardband, but that isn\'t the point New version is out sometime between tomorrow and end of next week. (I hope anyway. If not, aim for end of the month ) So download that one. It\'ll be around 500mb I\'m guessing

good to hear that, the current version hasnt been working ever since I changed comps. Doesnt matter, I dont know the community now adays and I dont feel like crystal hunting anymore.
