Fatal Error

I get a fatal error saying that it cant create a direct draw.  Please give me some feedback about that.

Can you copy/paste the exact error you get?

No but it says in exact words

Can\'t create DirectDraw device


and i dont know what that means

Can you give me the following information:
  • Operating System
  • Video Card
  • Video Card OpenGL Driver (i.e. date and version)
  • Output of psclient when started from commandline with -verbose -console options.

Operating System: Windows 98

Video Card: PBN 3070A on VIA/SG3 KM400/KN400


Video Card OpenGL Driver (i.e. date and version): sorry i dont know where this one is

Output of psclient when started from commandline with -verbose -console options. : sorry i dont know how to find this one either

It is rather important you find out as the problem is most likely here. Try to find where you can download the latest OpenGL drivers for your card.

Well just run psclient from a commandline (i.e. dos box) with the options I gave above:
psclient.exe -verbose -console

It says it cannot find the file psclient

and im downloading a new driver i think


hey im going to be home around 3:30 because i have to go and work is that ok

Well you must first change your directory to where you put psclient:
  cd c:\\bla\\bla

it does but it goes to fast for me to copy or even eyeball it


hey there is also another problem whenever i try to run psclient for the second time it reboots my computer for me

do you have any feedback on that one.
