Does you character need to:
« on: September 09, 2004, 09:44:51 pm »
Sleep, Eat, rest....
such things?

I mean I\'d like it if it\'d be so but I\'d also like it if it wouldn\'t be so.

Because if your unlucky enough not to find enough money(rubbies) and you can\'t eat you die, so not that funny in game, but yhea.

So how about it? :D

lol do we need to do this? or will we need to do this in the crystal blue version?

thx in advance folks

I\'ve been anti-food every since Rogue.   Nothing like getting down 20 levels, running out of food and dieing.  Had to get those 2 rings of slow digestion to even have a chance...

one thing that is not exactly relevant to your question, but that you whould know: Money in CB and future versions afterward will be in trias hexa octas and circles (the real currency.) The rubies etc. are simply to give people something to go :-/

It would make it more realistic, but then what happens if you log off (vacation?) for some long period of time... will you die? Is hunger calculated while ingame only? seems to me that that would encourage people to play for short stints, only when they have a particular reason like finishing quest x or leveling skill y, or promoting guildmember z... people would try to be online for shorter stints to save \"money\"... Or maybe it would discourage powergamers and RPers will have some food so when they say they ate something, people could actually observe that they did ;)

meh, and doesn\'t reast usually == sleep? Or perhaps Enkidukai get to take cat-naps :D

Ok thanks for the heads up guys.

Well it is a BIT for the best because indeed this brings along consecuances but maybe they will implement something so that eating like a \"special food\" will raise your stamina temporarily (if stamina will be in the game)

would just be nice I think. Nice little gimik

I think that eating could be used to slowly regain HP, and rest should be needed to recover spells and accuracy in fight, a RPG without resting would be quite disapointing to me but it\'s true that eating is just cool when you really want to RP..

Right, what about food used as a quick way to recover lost hp? Buy some meat from a merchant, store it in a satchel, then munch on it when your health goes down. I\'m sure something like this will be available... I\'d hate to depend on potions and magic all the time when a quick recovery is needed.
