I know the \"Initializing World\" issue has been addressed, but after trying everything listed, plus some I thought up, I still cannot get past it.
First, I did regular install, then updated, the new Run_me_first(after uninstall), and changed the timeout settings in the cfg.
I get to \"Initializing World\" and it stays there for about 30 minutes, then goes back to connect screen. If I hit connect again, I see \"Error\" under \"Initializing World\", with no further description given.
I left if running for about 7 hours(with it probably back at connect scrren after the first 30 minutes, with no change.
I also, changed it to Windows 98/Me Compatability just for good measure.
I am running a custom PC:
AMD Athlon XP 1900+
512 MB PC 2700 DDR
Asus A7V333 MB
XFX 5700 Ultra nVidia w/128 MB DDR2
C-Media intergrated sound
Cable internet w/ router
Windows XP Home SP2
I am unsure but when running the client, I get some messages in a DOS window. I can\'t seem to stop them with PAUSE before they all disappear, but here is 3 lines of of what I think to be 6;
No CEL enviroment variable set!
