1) BLOOD TRAILS!!!

You shouldn\'t actually bleed (well, not enough for it to show anywhere but on your skin) unless a noticable amount of damage was dealt with a single blow. Probably a certain percentage of your health... maybe 5%? If you are wounded badly enough to be \"bleeding\" you SHOULD be able to bleed to death, if you don\'t bind the wound, cast a cure spell on it, or at least take it easy for a while. That\'s only realistic. And while, yes, it\'ll make people die a little more often, it won\'t be that much more if it takes noticable damage to start you a\'bleed\'n.
2) Maybe you could log in as your own children, when you come of age? And pass off extraneous accounts to your friends... That way, a bond of brothership in the game would be backed by a bond of friendship in real life, which might add noticably to the roleplaying experience. I\'m not sure. And parent/child relationships will mean old character/ future character... I\'m actually FOR characters dying for good, but to each his own, I guess...

3) Meh. Actually, I don\'t know why I bothered to comment on pets at all. I really don\'t have anything to say.
4) What is the actual relationship to the surface? People might still keep track of astronomical events. They may be pertinent to some spells or something... And who knows? Maybe someday someone will find a way up... (Exile 3 flashback...

)
Still, devoting a lot of time to astronomical stuff in an underground game seems rather unnecissary. Perhaps other things that follow cycles... Anyone up for glowing fungal blooms? Or maybe there\'s some sort of regular weather patterns in a cave of those dimensions and conditions or something. I dunno.
