Character Creation: Can't load character from database

When I create a character, after entering the character name, picking race, and clicking \"Next,\" I get the following message (or something similar):
\"Your character could not be loaded from the database. Please contact technical support about this issue.\"

PS then quits. No dump. Several attempts, race and name do not matter.

You won\'t get those plugin conflicts if both $CRYSTAL is not set and the \"CrystalSpaceRoot\" key in the defaults database is not set, or is set to a dummy location.  

defaults delete NSGlobalDomain CrystalSpaceRoot

will eliminate this.  Of course, to run the other project you might have to put it back ;)

The good news for me is that i have moved out of my other problem. The bad news is i now have this problem. I get the cannot load character from database message.

Actually, I *think* the client quits, but since it has problems doing that it seems like a crash. My reasoning here is that there\'s no console dump. ;)

Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Console.

PS\'ll dump error messages there. You don\'t get one when you have the load database error.
