Linkdead Question

I was just wondering how i can play when theres linkdead every now and then... i havent played much but the server seems a little unreliable because of all the work they do on it.  My question is:  Is linkdead more prominent now because of all the server work they do or has it always been like this?

Yes, we have been experince a rash of server crashes the last couple of days.  Durning our testing we never had upwards of 100 people online at a time so we are treading in new waters.  That being said we are determined to make the server as stable as we possible can as quickly as we can.  So we appreciate the patients that people have given us while we try to work out these bugs.

When does the client and/or server think the link is dead. I.e after how long?

And what is the larges ping you can have but still connect?
