Non-Combat?
« on: December 25, 2004, 02:30:21 pm »
how does a non-combat get experience? i trained mining but still no experience comes when i mine :/ and how do i act like an animal trainer? what other non-combat activites are there? no offence and not to be rude.. CB is great the combat works.. but if mining is the sum whole of the non-combat \"stuff-to-do\" then i\'ll be waiting for another release.. again XD (as i have been playing hack-n-slash since atari\'s adventure.. i\'ve had enough combat no matter what advances are made in fighting systems) but good job on the terrian.. exploring sure is fun this release though :D i saw a HUGE pillar from the ground all the way to the \"sky\" *roof* it was cool.. also where can i find a furnace to turn those ores i keep getting into bars?

i DO want it to be clear i am not dissing anything.. i am not saying Id sit this out becuase i wouldn\'t like it.. i just want to keep as much \"unexplored\" and keep that new game \"crisp\" as long as possible.. as veteran gamers know.. once that \"feel\" is gone it hardly ever comes back.. i just want to know what non-combat things there are to do.. and how to gain exp without fighting.. so i can judge weather to wait and play this game later or start getting into my character now.. and i would still like to know where a furnace is.. or actualy just tell me IF it exsists... in a release like this its hard to tell whats not released/included, and what i am to dumb to find XD

target him, then type /give in your chat window. This is the only way i have found to work. (using the quick launch icons does not seem to work when you try to give him the gold)

Currently fighting is the only way to gain XP. Once more content and features have been created, there will be more freedom in choosing your playstyle. Be patient. :)

Only the admins can delete characters. Create a new one if you need to.
