Sigh. Would you pls check your keyboard\'s language and post it here? I\'ll tell you right away.
IF you use winxp go control panel, double click regional&setting, then select language, details and tell me what it show.
E.g English[United States] - US

@azmodan: enter any name (example user@hell.com) and try to connect to server. Then exit planeshift and edit your login-name in the file planeshift.cfg ...

There you can change user@hell.com to your correct email-address.

BTW: Ingame you will sometimes need the \"/\", you will not be able to enter this using SHIFT+key ... so you must use the numeric keypad to enter this.

example:  \"/greet\" in chat-window

you should post your english language so i can tell you. No, in some language you do the sing @ by pressing shift+\' etc.
you wouldn\' be able to type in english if your language is set to swedish. You probably have 2 languages. Please post the english language one and i\'ll tell you.

Use Ctrl-Alt instead of AltGr
