Really necessary?

Is it really necessary to close Planeshift when the server goes linkdead? The game runs fine for me now, I don\'t have any problems besides that. It\'s a nuisance to have to start planeshift all over again everytime the server goes linkdead.

Yeah, I\'ve submitted a feature request at SourceForge about it, it\'s here. I haven\'t seen any response though.
