windows screwed?

is there a chance that this sound error is caused not because of the sound but that my windows xp is screwed??? i thought of that because i get kicked on the desktop on other games too....offcurse i dont get thatkind of error but the problem is allmost the same. i hope you understood and reply!

Might be several things, have you tried updating your graphics driver?

Could also be hardware problem, something broke like a memory dim.

Also window$ needs to be reinstalled after half a year or so to keep it running smoothly, so reinstall it, or ... install Linux (:

ok people. my win xp is toasted. allmost in every game it chrashes and goes on the desktop. i will do a format-c and win install tomorrow and i am pretty shore that this will be the solution to this problem! when it is, i will reply to this tread again! i hope it works
