Problems with Updater

Im having problems with CB.

I initially tried running the game straight after the install. When trying to connect to the server it told me my version was not correct to run the game. So naturally I ran the updater program. The updater program said it downloaded a newer version of the updater and needed to be restarted. After re-running the updater, it told me that my version of the updater was NEWER then the server version.

At this point if I tried running CB I got a crash.

So I uninstalled CB completely and reinstalled it, directly after running the updater. Same problem

Having the same problem here. At first PS would just crash after I tried to log in for the first time. I updated, got this error and tried to disable sound to fix it only to find that my PS Setup file only flashes on the screen. You click the setup file and a black box flashes and that\'s it, it just instantly disappears.

Hi,
because of versioning problems of updater I\'ve made a patched updater for everybody:

http://planeshift.zarevak.net/updater.zip

This Updater will work until next official will came out - then it updates itself to the official one.

Use at your own risk. If you have any doubts about my version, wait for the official solution.

Same Problem...  And your \"patched updater\" Doesn\'t make a difference.  Thanks anyways.

Here\'s how it happened though.  
I dled PS:CB, installed, tried to run, Found out I needed to update.  Once I updated everything seemed to work and a pop up window said to restart updater, so I did it.  Here\'s where things went wrong.  There was no text what-so-ever anywhere in the updater window.  No messages or pop ups, just no text anywhere.  I clicked the very bottom right box, its a rectangle that I had remembered reading as Launch PS:CB.  When I clicked this  it ran the program and I got this error:

Something Unexpected Happened in Planeshift: Crystal Blue
Exception at Address: 00E92BA7, Exception code: C0000005
Would you like to save a diagnostic file?
THen you can click yes or No.  I click no, Problem crashes, I click yes, and I get this message:

Dump saved to ...... Please email to PS programmers. etc.

I\'ll upload and edit post with link in a bit.
