I just tried to run the updater.  It updated the updater, told me to restart, the typical things it does when there\'s an update.

But there\'s a catch.  My updater version is somehow now higher than the server\'s...which is funny, because I got it from the server.

So, does this mean I need to reinstall over the game and retry this, or wait for another update, or what?

That updater.zip file doesnt work.   LIBCURL.DLL not found

You have to extract it into you planeshift files in the program files

I downloaded all the files edited today, everything works fine except for the the words error. I can\'t read the words on the updater, the client and the setup.

Well, crystal blue for me doesn\'t seem to want to work, and I can\'t run the updater once reinstalled. *chuckles*  And when I use the PlaneShift_CBV0.3.005 it only reads as 3.004, then on top of that, it says it\'s the wrong version for the server.  So I can neither update nor play at the moment, which is frustrating.  Going to try a reinstall and update once more.

edit And that file seems to be corrupted when I attempt to open it.  Odd.

Re-edit. It seems nikomak software introduced deliberate errors which winzip 9.0 works around, but breaks other unzip programs via corruption.  Including the standard windows XP Pro unzip, and the ALZip program.

It works fine with Winzip 9.0, seems to be a new way of trying to sell their software, in my opinion, at least.

im so confused, it wont work for me, i have a more updated updater than the server....it keeps running into an unexpected error.....wut the crap is goin on??
