Well I am planning to start a new guild and want to know if there would be anyone willing to join.
Like it was once it shall be again. We The Enk Whar once protected Yliakum from any threat of the stonelabyrinth. We the Stronghold of Kehlad Var?m centuries over centuries, but no one ever knew of us, and that was our downfall. We didnt care for the pointless wars of those who called themselves good or evil, we only cared for Yliakum and its inhabitants.
But no one ever heard of us until this very day. We lived by the sword and died by the sword. We didnt ever contact any mortal being except the monsters and ourselves.
The great god Talad, the creator of the Kran and founder of Yliakum blessed us for this selflessness. No one of us ever died of age or disease, the only way to eternal peace was trough the battlefield.
We never stopped fighting until that day before thirtyfive years. Overwhelming masses of monsters came out of the Labyrinths, we fought them. We gave our best. But we didnt stand a chance. We killed nearly all of them before the order fell.
At the very last battle i was knocked unnouscious and fell into a pit.
Now I am the last surviving warrior of The Enk-Whar, which means something like \"The last Bastion\" in a very old lanquage.
I am an outcast, a Ronin.
The last Ronin.
--> Told during a stormy night at Kada El\'s Tavern by Sirvion the last Ronin.
Hierachy:
We (Well I atm.) want to give as much freedom as possible, so the guild is divided into seven parts.
The Spellswords:
The Spellswords are our offensive Spellcasters building one line with archers, granting the offensive warriors more defense by taking out strategical important targets. They need to be well trained at the one offensive kind of magic of their choice
The Wellwishers:
The Wellwishers are skilled defensive Spellcasters. Their job is to take care of the warriors during and after the fight. They have to be well trained at crystal way.
The Sharpshooters:
Building one line with the Spellswords the Sharpshooters take out huge ammouts of enemy troops. They need good knowlodge at using and making bows and crossbows.
The Shades:
The Shades, surely have the most risk in their job. Their duty is to sneak around the enemy troops and fall into their back. They need to be skilled at sneaking and melee.
Because of the risk of their work they are honoured high by the Spellswords, Wellwishers and Sharpshooters
The War Maiden/War Lords:
The Duty of the Glyph Maiden/Glyph Lords is to seperate enemy troops granting the other offensive troops a better Front. To reach that goal quickly they need to be skilled at light armor and weapons of their choice. Because of the risk of their work they are honoured high by the Spellswords, Wellwishers and Sharpshooters
The Defenders:
The Defenders surely have one of the most unpleasant duties in the Enk-Whar. They build the first line of fighters protecting the Spellswords, Sharpshooters and Wellwishers. They need heavy armor and spears/polearms. Because of the risk of their work they are honoured high by the Spellswords, Wellwishers and Sharpshooters.
The Hands:
The Hands are workers, who ensure that the troops are well suited for battle. They forge weapons, mine for ore, build buildings, get food and drinks and when an invasion takes place they run to alarm Yliakum and get help. Though they are not partaking in the battles they are honoured highly by any other divisions.
Each of them needs a craftmansship.
Each of those Divisions choose one mouth out of their ranks. The mouths build a council in which each of them representate the needs of their division.
Chosen by the council is the judge who decides which need shall be fullfilled first, which second, and so on.
We learned of our past failures and are accepting any help from any (ANY!) guild, organization, religion and so on with open heart and hands.
At the moment we are in state of reforming, and training. So we maybe will be able once more to guard Yliakum against threats from the outside.
If this would be somehow possible it would be very nice if the WorldBuilders could roam in some space in the Stonelabyrinth (Or even a camp) in a future release.
[edit]I nearly forgot:
The Codex of the seven Wisdoms of the sword:
1.If you draw your sword in anger you will lose, either your honour or your life.
2.If you draw your sword in hate you will pollute your honour and loose your friends.
3.If you draw your sword despair you cant loose more.
4.If you draw your sword to protect the innocent, your honour will be without any measure.
5.If you draw your sword to protect your belover ones they will offer you more love than you ever wished.
6.If you draw your sword to protect others others will draw their sword to protect you.
7.A sword drawn by a man without any fear of death is the most devasting weapon of all
