i think it effects some of your stats as well as your baseline skills. but i could be wrong. i never played with the character creation.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

I created my character wrong I think cause I ended up with 0 in all skills, and I did fill in parents job etc.

Parents job do something, lik everything. But it seems like every event gives a chance for skills and effects on the main stats. You need to use supporting events to see the effects. For example a priest parent brings the chance for magic skills. But you need other supporting events, which up the chance for magic skills to have them in the end result.

Not correct. Every option works independent.

If you have no skill ranks after creation, that means you have chosen options which only influenced your stats. That means that your average stats are higher than someone who got a few skill ranks.

As long as you spend all the CP\'s you can\'t do anything wrong. Besides that you can train your skills and stats: the character creation is not that important: if you want a bit more of something, just train.
