Mac version can't log on

I am running the mac distro and when I tried to log on planeshift told me I wasn\'t running the correct version of the game. I therefore proceeded to the updater and When I click update all that happens is it says downloading registry and then it goes on the top bar to about 67% then nothing happens and the bar dissapears...

--help would be aprreciated, I\'m kind of wanting to play :)

I don\'t think that the mac updates are ready yet.  Maybe wait a few days.  

I would run a search, I don\'t think you\'re the only one in this predicament.  

I don\'t run mac myself, so I\'m not sure about whether the updates are ready.

- The updater is broken.
 - The maintainer is working on an update for the updater and client... neither are ready yet. If you want to build from CVS yourself you can, it works (I\'ve done it) but the procedure is very complex. Just wait, he\'ll get it ready before too long. :)

(This is what I believe has been said in the Mac thread pinned in this board.)
