I know this may be a little to stupid to ask but, could the creators change it so that you can make your charactors off-line for those that the game wont run for.  You know... just kind of past the time screwin round with the charactors.

I found that I could do the character creation parts no trouble even though my computer isn\'t up to the minimum req\'s. I can play the game it is just really slow. Any way, I got the impression that you wanted to pass the time until you could play the game, but if it won\'t let you play now, when will it? I\'m sure there are other things you could do to pass the time.

Xen, I never said make it available off line.  I said make the character creation available for off line use not the game.

As far as I know it is offline, you only need to be connected to the internet so that your character is stored on the database. Which means that you can\'t actually create one, but you can still play around with the options. This is because if you stored your character on your hard drive, people *cough* cheaters *cough* will find a way to edit them, creating an unfair advantage in their favour.

If you can\'t get the character creation part going then I think its time you upgraded your computer. I\'m not saying that you should upgrade your computer just because of an incomplete beta MMORPG.

character creation is off-line, but you have to connect to the server before you can do it, so it really isnt... but technically you do the creation and once youre done, it uploads it to the server...

The devs have their hands full as it it is. I doubt they have time to do somthing like this.

This is a WISH list forum so I wouldn\'t tell people that there idea won\'t be implemented because the devs are busy cause ya never know.

I am aware of the requirements to play the game.  My problem is that Im one of the ones that have an updater that downloads the repos file while updating then does nothing else.

        The problem isn\'t connecting to the server for me, it\'s getting the update so I can.
