All right

I did the download, I have no firewalls, I am at home, I have no other issues with any other online app or game and get the error cannot reach server ect. Note the server name has a fail next to it. In plain english is there a solution?

Hi!

If you get FAIL near the name of the server this means that the server is unreachable (and the reasons for that could be several).

I think that now the server is up, you can check here, by the way:
