Help with new updater.

Today on January 19th i tried to start PlaneShift but it said i was running an older version. So i launched the updater and a window came up and said that it will start replacing the older files with the new ones in the backround and it said not to do anything until it told me to do so. I clicked OK and the updater went away and it showed my regular desktop.  I took a nap and about an hour later it still showed no message.  I tried this again and it still wont do anything. Please tell me what to do.

Do a search, there are several threads on this subject.  I had that problem this morning and solved it by unziping something to something else.

You need to go to your planeshift directory, then open updatertemp and unzip the file name updater there to your main planeshift directory.

If you run the updater again everything should be fixed.

kk i had the same problem this is wat u have to do

1. go to ur updater temp file AFTER the mssg has come up

2. then unzip the file updater.zip into the same temp folder

3. run the updater in the C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue not the C:\\Program Files\\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\\updatertemp folder

4. soon heaps of dos windows will pop up then it says it will try to open up the updater again. then anyther update should come and ull b sweet (NOTE if the updater doesnt open itself up open it up from the updated shortcut!!)
