you are not running the correct version of this client
« on: February 07, 2005, 06:26:20 pm »
well..... probably it\'s for my horrible english....maybe cause I\'m so stupid but I havent understand how (and maybe if) the client version problem can be solved

I mean, I read that was necessary to update the file
so I ran update.....
I tried again but it appears always the same message.....(u r not running etc....)
other questions are:
1) why updatertemp is alway empty? even after the update....
2) do I have to unzip the upgraded files?
3) is it a bug? -installing from cvs will solve the problem?
4) i\'m using a linux-machine, is the problem only for linux users?

If you compiled your client from cvs, get a fresh checkout. If you used kronon\'s installer, run update_code. If you have a little patience, you can wait for my installer ;)

Back to Planeshift again \\o/

pretty simple.....
i run update_code

I\'ll tell you if the problem has been solved....

I was also thinking.... why don\'t you create also a slackware tgz package?
