i just updated from the last version and it wont let me log on now???

i was on the last version (molecular blue) as a character called skratt i just downloaded the new typ today and when i try log on it says it cant reach the server or sumat like that
what on earth is going on and how do i fix it? i need to get on and see my mates!

Planeshift is down for a bit due to problems with the updater.  You should read other threads before posting your own... especially since there are four or five of this same thread on the front page alone.

Yea this has been talked about far to much listen carefuly and stop asking...............
Un-install then re-install but DO NOT run the updater. wait for further notice from the devs that its complete it will be posted in the technical support section of the forums
