a sword is a sword is a sword... be it long, short, or bastard.. it is still a sword.... so it would fal under the sword skill... only thing i can think of that might be different is if the sword was 1 handed or 2...

what about an axe? it isnt a sword so wouldnt fall under the sword skill. it would be its own skill all together.
