Where to find Tefusangs?
« on: February 14, 2005, 05:48:01 am »
I am sick of killing rats. Where are Tefusangs and what kind of loot do they have?

What else can be done to make trias?

Seems general consensus is that mining is about useless.

Any quests that actually work?

Got like 40 progression points and not a dime to my name!

Rats and mining are the best ways to get tria (dig for Platinum Ore).

Quests should be fixed soon.

Many Tefusangs enhabit the hills beyond the forest, not far past the exit of the road towards Ojaveda.

bollox! (sorry just had to say this)

killing tefusangs, if you can, is one of the most efficient money making schemes out there - their loot is more expencive than rats and you can carry more of their loot than ore.

even more efficient might be killing all rouges you can find and figuring out which carry lootable swords at times - each sword is worth more than all the platinum ore you char can carry!

of course you could also try to hack the game or beg gm for a few uber-expencive items, but that won\'t get you too far *g*

Thanx moogie, but you kind of lost me where I can find them.  It\'s a long road. Went once but found nothing useful there.

As for rouges that carry swords... Any hint where to find them?  :) ;)

Actually the beasties are ususally off the road, over the ridges that run alongside. I recently found a small valley filled with trepor - no tria, but lots of xp. And I was once blindsided by a \'sang while mining iron on the roadside. \'S what I get for playing without sound...

Also, mining may be slower than ratting, but you don\'t have to worry about all the other ore in the area ganging up on you :P

Yah, I found Consumers.. 150xp no loot and found the Trepor 400xp no loot.  There is a rougue out there that I found that is easy as pie to kill and gives 1000xp. Just can\'t find the Tefusangs :(  I guess they are in the arena as well, but have no idea where that is either. Was about to get shown where and the server died :(

id avoid the ones in the arena unless you had a party if i were you...their ALOT stronger (oodles of xp tho and i mean OODLES) but yeah... you know where the over hangeing rocks on path are after the fork?

well if you head left into the hills just before that youll eventually find some tefusafengs (there are like three up on the hill your on head left into a valley to find like 8 more)

I personally think that the harder to kill monsters should drop more loot - or give much less xp.

From killing rogues, tefusang and trepor I now have 105 progression points but not a cent of money.
