Rangers unite!

Well I guess it has been some time now so here we go again:

Introduction
Rangers are an interesting type of warrior who prefer the open expanses of the outdoors to the cramped, uncomfortable confines of a castle or tower. They are most at ease when the wonders of nature surround them, and especially when the creatures of the forest can be heard in all directions. Though they all share a love for nature and are quite adept in battle, there may be other aspects of life that are held even dearer to any particular ranger. Rangers are renown for their unique abilities at working with things of the natural world, and their skills at outdoor survival are equally exceptional.

Goals & Belief
We are wanderers of the land, on our eternal quest for Power, Wealth, Knowledge, Adventure and above all fun and friendship. We are Chaotic Neutral and we do not believe in any gods, even though our members are free to worship any god they want to, as long as it doesn\'t go against the guilds ideals.
 
Guild rules
We expect following rules to be respected and followed:

Guild Rules

1. Respect and follow the rules of Planeshift

2. Be helpful to the new members, even those who aren\'t in the guild

3. Respect your fellow guildmembers and our allies

4. Do not beg for items or money

5. Be as active as possible, if you for some reason cannot be active for a larger period of time such as vacation then contact one of the wardens.

6. Do not shout ingame unless necessary, and respect other players

7. check the forum and website at least once a week
 
New Rank System  
- The Voting -

A week after a member has submitted a satisfactory application, a Rangers of Yliakum member vote is held on admittance of each Wanderer. The members may cast their vote in a PM to the Warden, with one of three answers:

- Pass, the Wanderer has met all your expectations and would make an fine addition to the guild.

- Reject, the Wanderer made a bad impression and is not Ranger material (reason is required, in PM).

- No idea, did not get a chance to know the Wanderer well enough to make a decision.

Results of the vote will be announced in a Thread as soon as the voting is over, and a Wanderer must get 60 % or more of the votes to become a full member. Should they recieve less than 60 % they will be permitted to stay in the guild until the next vote is held, if they recieve less than 60 % on the second voting then they will be removed from the guild. If they recieve any Reject votes they will be removed from the guild, the reason for the reject vote will be explained to the applicant in a PM from the Warden, all members votes are of course anonymous.

- Promotion system -

You will need to receive a certain amount of points to be promoted to the next level, you will receive points based on your RP skills, how active you are, attitude, loyalty and skills.

How do I join?

If you wish to join the Rangers then just PM the Warden or one of the Elders, post on our forums or try to catch one of us ingame.

 Though, Rangers? To make it shorter, I\'ll just say I\'d rather hang myself than seeing someone else leading a guild named Black Order, or something close to that.

Some of our members are rather inactive atm, one of them is actually going to be kicked if he/she doesn\'t get on soon - I am pretty inactive because of exams and job seeking.

seems I didn\'t make myself very clear then it\'s a recruitment thread, we could use some dedicated mature RP gamers to join

Understandable. I have now seen you and 2 others once before now. I not usually on at that time though.

Good luck with that. There are a lot of good players in PS. Just take your time with it and you\'ll find them eventually.

Geeze, I havn\'t made a post in forever is seems like! I saw your thread though and couldn\'t help but come and wish you luck.  PS needs good guilds for people to join, so I hope you exist for a long time.  Best wishes to you.
