Crash at Character Screen While Contacting Server

The past 2 days I have been unable to connect to planeshift.  I can log into the server, and it will say \"Connecting to Server\" at the top, then it will crash.  I understand the server is pretty unstable right now, but I haven\'t read anyone else having a problem like this.

I\'ve changed 2 things on my machine before this happened.  One was upgrading planeshift, and the other was moving from DirectX 9.0b to 9.0c.  I\'ve tried reinstalling DX9.0c, reinstalling planeshift, and bumping up to the lastest version of the NVidia drivers with no sucess.

Another thing I was wondering about, is I\'ve read on these forums that the server was rolled back to Feb 9th.  If that\'s true, it would be before my character existed.  Could that mess up my account?

I have the same problem and I haven\'t reached any solution jet. Trying to reupdate it all to see what happends, but it\'s probably a bug...

This is my problem exactly.  Likewise, my character did not exist until after February 9th.  I posted this .dmp in this thread:

Hope all this gets worked out, I only got to play Planeshift for a few days, but I\'m already going through Planeshift withdrawal :-)

Oh oh, never tought about that. My Char also wasn\'t that old. I get the \"Unexpected Error\"-Message too in the char-selection-screen and it saves a dump-file (sorry, i have no webspace to host it).
