Here is the solution step-by-step.

1. Go to http://www.wings3d.com
2. Download wings3d.
3. Uninstal blender.

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

Blender is an excellent program.
But don\'t expect to learn it in one day.

Here\'s a useful link (Make sure to check the forums):

http://www.elysiun.com/

Blender takes a lot of patience and practice to learn how to use it. Try elysiun as others have said, or talk to cherppow, who knows a lot about it. Once you know how things work, the shortcuts and interface actually streamline work enabling you to get it done faster. Wings3d has excellent mesh modelling capabilities, but lacks when it comes to animation, rendering, and games ( yay, videogames! :D )
Warning: Prone to common sense.

I downloaded it and started it up for the first time about a week ago, having never used 3d modelling software before. I found the below tutorial helpful. After going through the first one of three I had something that looked like the tin man from The Wizard of Oz, all cylinders and spheres but I was very happy with it!!

It will take a lot of time and patience to get a good grip of probably. Its very daunting when its first started and you are presented with like 100 different clicky icons that all do various things.. you just need to persevere.
