i just downloaded and installed the game, but i dont have the latest version, so i ran the updater. but its gonna take at least 2 hour, is this update so big or is mij connection bad. btw, im new to the forums.


[edit]i just looked around and i\'m looking for a guild(mining maybe)

The latest update was about 10mb I think.

I\'m on a pretty fast cable connection, but the last update took me an hour to download.  I\'m guessing it\'s a traffic issue because everyone else is downloading it too.

If you\'re interested in a guild, check out the Guild forum. Tayledras is recruiting, though not a mining guild, we do accept miners into our ranks!

Updating very difficult

I am located in Finland. I suppose I must be fetching the updates from Italy. We have never had very good Internet connections to Italy from here. The transfers keep stalling, and if they stall, they never start back up again. The update should not take me too long in principle, since I have a 1Mbps connection. But when I have to keep stopping and restarting the updater, it is taking a long time. I had the updater going for 3 days straight once. I haven\'t been able to get into the game yet. I will be running it on Mandrake 10.1. Any other Mandrake users out there?
