[Platyna]

Well, I see so many download problems threads here so I think it might be
useful to compile some small guideline to not repeat all over again same
things:

1. DOWNLOADER PROGRAM:

Well, there is known Windows port of one of basic and nicest UNIX
programs - wget. It is a program that has to be called from command line,
you may download this: http://platyna.xpam.de/dl/windows/www/wget.exe
and copy to your  C:\\windows and then call it:

Start --> Run --> wget http://downloads.planetmirror.com/pub/planeshift/PlaneShift_CBV0.3.009.exe

It will download the file to the current directory, so better use:
Start --> Run --> wget http://downloads.planetmirror.com/pub/planeshift/PlaneShift_CBV0.3.009.exe -P C:\\some\\other\\dir

It has multiple options and is not an interactive program. I am using this
since years on UNIX, tested the Windows port as well, and I know it works
fine and has no problem with corrupted downloads unless the files are
corrupted on the server.

There are also other, more \"friendly\" that I never tried: Flashget, Download
Accelerator Plus etc. Whatever you will use is better than IE.

2. CORRUPTED FILES.

Here are correct sizes of Planeshift packages:

In bytes:

If you have different file sizes your download is probably corrupt.
You may use md5sum program to verify your downloads though.
