Moving messages in the forums
« on: May 27, 2005, 04:27:27 pm »
i wish that a message put in one place in a forum could be moved to
another place.   It would be similar to my wordprocessor \"cut\" command
which would eliminate the message from the old site and one could
\"paste\" it at the new site.

Recently I posted a \"Warning unknown\" message in Technical help\" area
and after looking at it after posting, I wished i had put in the title that it was in the Mac format.   Or I had posted it directly to Mac OS X forum.
I wish I could just move it to the Mac OS X forum site and not duplicate the message in two different sites.    I could post it twice and ask a moderator to delete the one of the sites.    When checking my message in edit, I could not add mac to the title.

I often wish that the Mac mesages site had the same  breakdown as the PC section.   Say have one for Technical questions same as the PC does.

Moderators can move them.  Though I agree, it would be simpler if you could just move your own threads.

Case in point:  This thread probably belongs in \"Forum Requests\".   :P
